Tate Electrical Services Ltd was proud to support The Brickworks Museum by providing the electrical installation labour for a complete LED lighting upgrade to the museum’s historic drying sheds.
The project was made possible through the collaboration of several organisations, all donating their expertise and resources to help improve one of Hampshire’s most important industrial heritage attractions.
This project was a fantastic example of what can be achieved when businesses work together to support their local community.
By combining our resources, we were able to deliver a modern, energy-efficient lighting solution at no cost to the charity.
The existing lighting within the drying sheds was outdated and inefficient, making it difficult for visitors to fully appreciate this unique part of the museum.
Working within a historic building required careful planning to ensure the new installation respected the character of the site while significantly improving light levels, energy efficiency and reliability.
The new Luceco LED lighting has transformed the drying sheds, creating a brighter, safer and more welcoming environment for visitors, volunteers and staff.
In addition to improving visibility throughout the building, the upgrade will help reduce energy consumption and ongoing maintenance costs, allowing more of the museum’s valuable resources to be directed towards preserving its nationally important collection.
At Tate Electrical, we believe in supporting the communities in which we work. We were delighted to contribute our time and expertise to this project and to work alongside Salvis Group, Luceco Lighting and Rexel to deliver a lasting improvement for The Brickworks Museum.
This project demonstrates the positive impact that collaboration can have when businesses unite behind a common goal, helping preserve an important piece of local heritage for future generations.
